As the nights grow shorter and the sunlight dims heading into winter, I became fascinated by sunlight and it’s impact on stained glass. The way the light hits the wall, the colours bleeding behind. It’s interplay of light, colour, and imagination. A craft, that has remained unchanged for century's. I wanted to create a project that brought stained glass to life, through it growing and sparkling it’s way into existence.

Researching online, I found the work of Marije on Instagram (GlassBeatStudio), a wonderfully talented glass artist who’s work gave my great inspiration. Thank you to you and your work.
